The personal blog of Colonel James Moriarty, traveller, blogger and older brother to a certain consulting criminal. Dont hesitate to ask me any question you want. (RP/SideBlog to CheshiresDen. FC: Lee Pace)
James allows himself to be moved and handled without any protest. He knows it wouldn’t do him any good anyways. His eyes are half lidded as he’s finally seated, taking slow, deep breaths while trying to collect his bearings. Everything is spinning now and Sebastian’s voice and face seem oddly distorted. It is quite unnerving but the words make him calm enough. “Just one glass…” he murmurs then though, “Just…had one glass.” And then he drinks, slowly as commanded, the liquid feeling good on his tongue, allowing him to offer them a grateful smile.
“Thank you…” he wraps the blanket tighter around himself again, still shaking, “Where am I?” He tries to recover what bits and pieces of memories he has left then suddenly gasps and stares at Charlie. Did he not try to….kiss Sebastian? Did he manage? Did he stop? Did James manage to stop him? He knows the other student wouldn’t have liked to hear about this. Charles sees the expression but he’s mistaking it for something else, for the fact that Jamie did remember what had happened at the pub. That he somehow could now tell that his drinks had been spiked.
“I’m sorry.” the ginger mutters, bare toes digging into the carpet as he stands there like the worst sinner who ever existed, “I didn’t think it would get this bad…” Fumbling with his towel he’s not aware that none of them has any idea of what he’s talking about…besides James, and he believes this is about kissing Seb.
“You really shouldn’t have…” he replies weakly to the other student, rubbing his face, “You knew this would end up badly…” “Yeah, yeah…I know…” Charles sounds thoroughly frustrated, “I just…wanted you to have fun.” “Fun? By kissing Sebastian?”
Mackey looks back at Sebastian with a quizzical brow, and Sebastian stares at Charlie, expression utterly bewildered. “What.” It’s not a question. Just a statement of disbelief. The blond simply turns around and walks into the kitchen, pouring himself some coffee and moving through the cupboards for the sugar. He adds a bit of milk, not saying another word, though he plans on punching Charlie for this later. It’s not as though it’s the first time he’s tried something like that.
He gives a quiet growl before taking a drink, the hot liquid burning a bit, but the effect wakes him up more than the caffeine. He should have expected something like this, especially with how drunk he got last night. Made himself an easy target.
Mackey watches Seb go and shakes his head, turning back to James. “Dunno why I put up with you two,” he mutters, prompting James to drink more water before setting the glass aside. “That’s fucked up, Charles.” He gets up, leaning in to check James’ pupil reaction. “Rest for now. We’ll get you back to the Hall once you’re fit enough to be moved.”
Charles eyes grow wide at James’ words and inside his head he is cursing up a storm, as he stares at the other student. “What? N-no!” he finally blurts out, lifting his hands defensively, “I..I didn’t! I mean.. I swear! I tried..but didn’t do it in the end… I meant…I..your drinks….” He stops and swallows, realizing he’s only digging a deeper hole for himself. As Sebastian walks away the ginger is left running his hands through his curly hair, aggravated and nervous as hell.
Of course he can’t blame this on James. It was his own fault for fucking this up and he knows he’ll get punched for it later on. He doesn’t care though as he falls into one of the large bean bags. “Argh.. Fuck my life..” he exclaims then what earns him a confused gaze from James but he quickly returns his attention to Mack and the glass, drinking more. He’s grateful for the help but he does feel like a moron at the same time. And all of this because he had to have to this one drink.
“Thank you. I’m much better already. I know I should have listened to you… Guess me being stupid didn’t pay off..” Holding his head in his hands again after Mackey checked his pupils he then lets himself fall back to rest against the sofa, eyes lidding fully again. Charles sighs as well. “I agree… Being stupid never pays off. And Mack, I swear I didn’t kiss him. Okay..maybe I wanted to but… Ugh… Can you talk to Seb?” He knows he’s sounding like a coward but… “Please?”
